Default Need Advice on Organizing Transfers at Event

I will be pressing shirts on demand at a festival next month and will have probably 25 different transfers.

As for storing the transfers, I'm thinking about putting them in separate large zip-lock bags just to keep them safe, but I'm unsure how to organize them so I can access them quickly.

I need a solution that is not only economical but also easy to transport and that doesn't take up a lot of space. Maybe something like a cardboard vertical flat file like this???

Now that I'm putting this in writing, it seems like a silly question and something I could figure out on my own, but I'd like to hear how other people handle this.

I use pizza boxes to keep my transfers organized. The boxes are sturdy and stack nice. I have used this system for the last 2 years and it works great. ..... JB

I use 1 "underbed box" to store all my transfers. It's good cause the transfers fit perfectly into it. It's also made of plastic, so it's waterproof. I place all my transfers in clear zip lock bags, and dump them all in the plastic box. I use it at home and at festivals.

Thumbs up Re: Need Advice on Organizing Transfers at Event

I use the 3 or 5 drawer plastic on wheels or without carts that sell for $8.00 tp $15.00 at wally world(Wallmart).
There are bigger ones and smaller ones depending on full transfers or sayings, and also they stack on each other very well, and will keep the dust and moisture out of them from events. I organize them by the color of shirts they are on. and all are still in there bags, separated from each other,, this is also how i store them at the shop.
make sure and keep a drawer for camera, cash, extra paper, tape, all the goodies you need too.
Hope this helps
Sandy Jo

Hiya Rhonda,

Most likely I would opt for something like this because:

* You can add tabs to each hanging files with the design number or nickname of the design, however you file them by.
* They are easily accessible without opening and closing plastic bags.
* It is made of plastic, so it gives good protection to the product, and in case of rain, covered and done.
* Has a nice little shelf below for maybe a nice bin to hold any extra items you want handy, like lunch.
* It rolls, which is nice to me because I have a bad back.
* I guess it would be nice storage for at home as well. Just roll it out to the show.
* Good luck, Rhonda. If this one is more $ than you are looking for, they have them cheaper without the nice wheels.

Have fun at the event, hope it goes terrific for you.
