Default Anyone heard of Shecky's Girls Night out?

Hey this company called Shecky's Girls Shopping Night Out contacted me about being a designer at one of their shows and selling my product. Just wondering if anyone has heard of them, worked for one of em, or even shopped at them as a patron.

It looks pretty fun for ladies, they have an open bar for most of the event, and it looks real swanky and classy, I guess my Graphic Tees must of made them contact me, because I'm not sure some of my product fits there overall theme or culture.

Shecky's Girls Night Out :: Minneapolis :: Spring 2008=

Heres a link to the minneapolis event, hope this wasn't spam message because it looked like a real email from their sales team.

they sent me a little something via email, too. it seems OK, we opted not to do it because its really not our market. but it looks as though it could be a good outlet though. you can always try it and see what its like.

Yeah, I have a few friends who have been to them. It's always packed. They always come back with a couple hundred dollars worth of clothes they bought. Open bar makes you spend more, I guess.

After some research and speaking to their sales reps, It seemed like they found me via myspace and liked my dsigns, but the message wasn't geared to me. It seems like they want to fill some space with local up and coming designers. I actually spoke to the woman who seeked me out via myspace, and I wondered how my company would fit in the overall scheme of things, and she said that since I have more tech, gamer, young urban fashion, she thought I would do well there since most of it is geared toward fashionistas..

I might look into it, because I would be the only one selling my type of product that the ladies can actually pick up for others VS finding stuff they only like..

And yes, I heard the drinks do loosen em up! I might make a killing both ways

I know this is a bit late but I have done a Shecky's event in Boston and it was a very well organized event. It is very pricey although. I was very busy and broke even and a little some but I was getting my name out there.
