I always stop when my girlfriend stops.....this means I spend money.....which is good for you vendors.
So have something cool for the ladies, lil trinkets or something that do not feel cheap. Also girls at your booth will most likely attract guys to your booth
I like belts....Miles on here looks like he does some cool stuff
Selling sunglasses at a flea market is how we actually got started with our small business and it is still mostly what we sell. Only now we only do a few events every year around here locally. Lately we've set up at girls fast pitch softball tournaments and we've done good. Opening day of our league this year we sold almost $1300 worth of sunglasses all sold for $8 or less. Last year we sold over $2000 at some tournaments and that's just for one day and we're not going very far. We're still trying to tap into the t-shirts. I'll actually be at my selling t-shirts tomorrow for the first time. Well it's not the first time but it will be the first time I will be selling a shirt that I was asked to design, print and sell. But back to the original question we will continue selling sunglasses and a few other novelty items related to the event. For example we also sell softball magnets, & decals.
Maybe sunglasses depending on how large the venue is.
Why not! I looked into it and there are several wholesale suppliers. There are good quality knockoffs and cheapies. Some with quality lens and others dont. You need space to display so the crowd stops.
Bins of pre-cut decals is also a great item to hold customers at your booth.
Hey David if you're looking for a place to get shades I buy mine here in Houston. I've priced the sunglasses and they are cheaper than other sites on the web and no shipping charges other than going to pick them up on the southwest side. If you're interested let me know

If you can hit me with a PM on your source that would be great. I havent put them in the booth but I have looked around and have some sources bookmarked. I know a few folks that sell them at venues we attend.
