Hey everyone,

When writing the terms for payment on my order form for a retail store, how do you word the net30 agreement? Is it 30 days from purchase or 30 days from when they receive the goods?

Sorry for such a "rookie" question. I've been selling online for a few months and now I'm pitching to stores. All new stuff for me. I need a good book recommendation for sales terms and techniques.

The client that i have that are net 30. its net 30 from the time of delievery..
donno if thats how everyone does it.. but how i do.

I think that it would have to be from delivery date. There will be some large orders or mishaps with certain orders that may make it 30 days before the order is delivered.

Susan is correct. It's 30 days from the date they receive the goods.

Agreed...30 day from time of delivery. In alot of cases, it is when they will pay their other 50% if they haven't paid for the entire order up front.
