Default EQUIPMENT - what you want, suggest, and couldnt leave home without

Last year my company had a small leg on the Vans warped tour - and what an expierence this was for us. It was two 17 year old kids traveling with a very large tour, with alot of competition, and very little knowledge about anything. So, in efforts to learn a little bit more, and help the people that are going to do this, I decided to post here What equipment you take for your show's, how you orginize your merch.

TENT - Last year before embarking on our tour I purchased a 10x10 White EZ up for aroun 240.00 off of ebay. Not only was this overpriced, but the quality is something I did not like for the strain i was going to put on it. I suggest anyone going somewhere where your going to set up and take down your equipment often and give it a beating to go ahead and get an industrial strength tent. One of the dates on the tour prooved to be devistating and alot of tent's got damaged. the few left standing I went and they were all differnt brand's other then ezup. What kind of tent do you use? any regrets/positive outcomes?

Carts - I believe if you go to your local home depot you will find an industrial cart good enough for hauling all of your rubbermaid's over some pretty wild terrian. I did not figure this so we ended up taking an abonded shopping cart and using that. Not suggested.

Cargo - We used a rented UHaul for pretty cheap. i belive it was around 50/week and i picked it up locally. We also used all rubbermaid products and sorted our shirts by size instead of design - the reason we did this is because when people have so many options you cant make them wait, and we had big tubs full of sizes, it's easier to distinguish colors rather then sizes in a full tub - i know that sounds like common sense, but I had no idea.

Basically, just post your expierence's at a show where you had to do a nice setup - what worked, what didnt, and what you wish you would have tried. any information would help! I hoped i help some newbie out there
