Default Retail packaging

I have a customer that is looking for a creative and "gifty" way to have her shirts packaged. This is for a large chain and apparently they will have a rack which is stand alone, 4 sided on wheels. The other shirts boxes she showed me would hang on a peg. I provided a bagged shirt with a hanger and a nice label and apparently it didn't have enough "Wow" factor. This is beginning to drive me crazy. It needs to merchandise well and at the same time I feel like the customer needs to be able to feel the garment if desired. ANyone have any ideas???Help!

Has anyone seen any type of clear cylinders or the like that may have hangers?

what if you made ONE a hanging sort of open "display" shirt, and then had seal bagged ones behind it?

would they go for that or do they all have to be the same?

cause i definitly like feeling/seeing the shirt before i buy it too.

sounds like they are taking you for a ride...tell them it'll cost more for the fancy packaging......

it should be up to them to display the items......

you can order printed boxes from uline.com...that might help

They are actually an existing customer so I don't think we are being taken for a ride. I think it is an inexperienced buyer but the potential is great so I don't want to blow her off. She has people approaching her with T's in cylinders that hanfg(never seen one of these) as well as T shirts packed in a box that looks like a T. You get the idea. I am trying to explain that although these are great "gifty" angles if people can't feel the shirts and hold them up to themselves they probably won't sell. So then I started thinking about some type a clear tube that would hang and the top could pop off of. That way someone could still take the shirt out and the shirt could, theoretically, be put back into the tube and still look nice. I'm just about at the end of my rope but feel like I need to go back with something.
