I am going around to specialty stores to find out what do they purchase their t-shirts for to get a feel of how I should price my shirts. My question is what other questions do I need to ask the store as far as business?

You could also ask if they have a consignment deal for local producers. I know when I worked at a music store (chain) we would take maybe 10 cd's from a local artist and sell them, then pay the artist. The company usually took 10%.
