Question Putting a catalog together

Hi, I would like to put together a catalog and distribute to local shops and send to buyers on a regular basis. I have photo's and everything ready to go I just need help finding a place to print it for me. Anyone know of a good cheap printer?

I would also like to consider printing it myself but the problem is printing on both sides of the paper. Binding seems to be the easy part. When I send this out I want it to look professionally done.

I'm looking for suggestions.

Thanks

You can always try a Kinkos or office supply store. They will print it digital and do the finishing as well. I think OfficeMax has it's own version called "Impress"

I have also used some online printing services before, such as PS print (or some similar name)... Although it is always nice to go with someone local so they can work with you and you can be sure to see proofs, etc.

As a heads up, if you are going to mail them at all, you'll want to consider what paper they are on and how heavy they are so that you can stay under a reasonable cost for postage.

Most online companies will send you free samples so you can see different papers.

Then, after you send them your artwork you can get an online proof. No bad experiences with any of my custmoers going this route.

Most of the online services have their rates published online.

We use gotprint.com and have been very happy. They have a self-rater for catalogs.

But, try to get one as close to you as possible. Shipping can get expensive.
