Default best way to display a single tee?

I have been trying to find a way to display a single tee for the retail environment. (this tee will be featured in local downtown shops that don't sell garments or apparel regularly and therefore cannot be absorbed into a different display unit.)

the coathanger? ehh. the thought makes me cringe.

we created a triangle stand with coroplast using the coroflute but the result is awfully tacky. i think coroplast has such an awful look for display purposes of anything.

need ideas for a standalone and a counter-top display. (don't want it to lay flat on the counter-top) anyone got any?

What about a mannequin? It helps if you dress the entire doll, creating a style... You may want to go to a store and look at the way they dress their mannequins. It's a great way to give the customer ideas... Just a thought. Good luck!

They also have manaquin torsos that you can get a metal stand for that would work well, you could have one for the counter top without the stand and then one with the stand as a floor model. there are alot of merchants on ebay that sell them.

right on Bobbie, thanks for the info. i saw some of those mannequins in another post... i should have specified. i was looking for a low cost alternative.

those torsos i think are around 10 12 bucks... i was looking for a DIY sort of schematic.

oh and to others with replies as well...

yeah i'm broke and this retail endeavor has seen it's capitol run to an end after advertising and the rest...
