Default First collection, sending out to buyers: envelopes or postcards???

Hey everyone:

So i have my first collection samples of my new line, its eco-friendly ladies graphic tees. Now I need to get into stores. I hired a rep in the New Mart (I am in the los angeles area), and he isnt getting any orders (one tiny one, which doesnt help the dent in my wallet at all). Now I need to send out my line to buyers, and wanted to know the best way to go about doing this.

I purchased a list of buyers, but am debating whether to send them a full line-sheet catalog in a 9x12 envelope, with the information hand-written (Yes, I will be starting a personal sweatshop), or sending out a postcard, and have them contact me for more information.

The first one would get them all the information they need, but there might be a slim chance of them even opening it. The second says the message before they even have a chance to throw it out, but it means showing my designs out to the public, and also not being able to show all designs/information.

Thanks for the help!!
