Is anyone planning on going to the 2008 Long Beach ISS Show?
Re: Is anyone planning on going to the Long Beach ISS Show?
I was also going to say a lime color, but that's because I look better in greens
I've booked three nights on the Queen Mary, it's a bit more than what y'all are paying, but for me, it's just toooo cooool! I'm a museum enthusiast, so I get a place to stay and a museum to walk around in after the public goes home. It was one of my dad's favorite places to take out of town guests, so when I'm there I can sorta feel him there with me.
Anyway, no more gushy stuff...
They have a Winter Special Deal, the rates are a bit lower than usual and you get breakfast coupons and tour tickets.
I am bringing our youger son, Dylan. He'll be 22 next month. He hung out at Borders across the street last time. Our older son and my middle sister and her family live in San Diego and my youngest sister and her family live in Los Angeles so every one meets in Long Beach for one of the days that I'm there.
Oh, and by the way, for anyone that this will be their first show....
Take a lot of time looking at EVERYTHING! I got home and I realized that I had missed so much. Do your homework before you get there and study the vendor list. I have a big stack of catalogs and samples that I brought home, but I have more question now than before I went...

Baby blue might be a nice colour. It's tasteful, goes well with the logo, suits most people, and while it's not shocking bright it is a bright colour all the same. It might make a nice compromise between those who don't want to wear drab black or boring white and those who don't want to look like an advertisement for OSHA.
Re: Is anyone planning on going to the Long Beach ISS Show?
yea, I would probably notice light blue. I just get so distracted by all the goodies I forget to look for people hehe. I suppose it doesnt matter the color if I am not paying attention but light blue would be nice, it would match my eyes hehe.
Re: Is anyone planning on going to the Long Beach ISS Show?
We got our free tickets but unless something pops up that compels us to go, we will probably not attend. We just finished 2 years of buying equipment and now are putting it to work.

I think light blue t-shirts might be good!
I can put them up for preorder. They would be free, of course, but I think I would charge for shipping just so people aren't loading up on free t-shirts when they have no intention of going to the show to sport them

If I was Rodney...I would not want to truck all the shirts down along with whatever else he is taking to a booth...easier to stuff it in priority mail envelope for $4.60 and it's done
