Default Showing Unmade designs to retailers

I have a (possibly big name) retailer interested in suppling shirts and they want to see my designs of what I have and what I can put out each month. I only have 4 designs out now but I have plenty more designed and ready for the screenprinters, I just dont have the money yet to produce everything I have yet designed. Im going to show the shirts I have now but should I send graphics over of my shirts next in line to produce as well?

Partly depends on the retailer (if it were Urban Outfitters for example... definitely not), and on whether or not you've officially registered the copyright.

I'd be reluctant, but on the other hand it could help your chances, and showing work before it's in production isn't unusual. Just make sure you cover yourself with a registration so you can prove you came up with it first if it becomes relevant.

yeah i think there is a big chance of someone stealing your ideas if you put them out there, unfortunately.

i think if you bring your 4 (or more if possible) really well done and completed designs, that looks more promising and professional than bringing in unfinished biz.
