i can't wait and have an awesome idea for my stand... it will cost quiet a bit but if i can pull it off i'll be laughing... might see you up there then aye?

No probs mate I will try to make it as I will be in Europe around that time but will get back on the 6th of Feb so I will have not much time to set up my booth design before the event but I should manage with the booth design I just need to source the stuff for the booth. I will try to organize the stuff from Europe so when I get back I will just have to put the pieces together. Thats what Im hoping for anyway my stuff is a little different to the surf scene but I will give this event a go!!

What I mean is other trade shows not only Fashion Expo which seams to be the only trade show in Australia!! for this area of fashion..
Have any of you attended the Fashion Expo trade shows, love to hear from retailers or sellers what is your opinion about this trade show?
I have been visiting Fashion Exposed in Melbourne for a couple of years now - mainly to check out what's out there? - not to buy or sell. From visitor’s point of view it’s a great event (not to mention - the only!) to go to have a look at trends and ideas, see who is who in the industry, pick up some catalogues and meet people. There’s a lot to take in from about 650 exhibitors with 2,000 brands J In addition to that - runway shows/previews/designer showcases with major and emerging brands and numerous industry seminars… This year we are planning to exhibit - so I’ll share my “seller” experiences after the show.

Are you planning to exhibit in Sydney 2008 or Melbourne 2007? I will be attending the 2008 Sydney event as an exhibitor and also the Melbourne 2008 I guess I will see you their!!
Jacob, thanks for letting me know about that Gold Coast show. Seeing as I'm fairly local I'll probably be there to look around!
Tania - is there much t-shirt coverage at Fashion Exposed? I'm trying to work out whether it will be useful to go, but I'd have to fly down to Melbourne....
Jacob, thanks for the link - I didn't know about that one, sound like a good show to take part in.
Martini007 - yes, I'd say so. Go though the exhibitors list - a lot of them have websites, so you can get an idea of what people are offering. There are usually quite a few urban/street wear suppliers and you'll see t-shirts on general men’s/women’s wear stands as well as in lifestyle/sports/leisurewear section.
