i have a Stahl 16x20 Mighty Press and I need to know if a 6500w max/5500w continuous generator be sufficient enough to power this machine. Thanks guys for all of your help

Your press is 1750 watts so you should be fine. Are you running any other electronics?

yes i will be running a laptop or desk top, and maybe a fan, but nothing else really big

here is another "dumb"question: the instructions on the generator says that i need to use a line conditioner(surge protector) for all sensitive equipment so I need to know if my stahl press is considered sensitive equipment? Thanks for all of your help

I doubt it as it really does not matter if your heat press gets a bit more or less energy, but a laptop and printer would definitley be sensitive equipment and need special protection and a special generator which uses sinewave energy.
