Most of my shirts wholesale for $10 and retail for around $20. I sell them online though for $16.95. Is this going to turn potential retailers away? | | | | | |
Yes, if you're selling to retailers, I think this could turn them away since you'll be undercutting their prices.
It might depend on your focus though, if you're selling a lot to offline stores, I would make your online price a bit higher or at least in line with the offline store retail price. That way you encourage more large orders from stores.
If you only have a few offline stores and you prefer selling online, then you could just make the online price closer to the offline sale price, and then with shipping, it would cost the person more to order from you than order from their local store (if they have one).
