Default Question about Catalog And Sell Sheet

First off thanks for all the help you have been throughout my tshirt journey We are finally at the stage now were we have a WEBSITE ecommerce almost complete, a first run of 580 shirts 10 different designs, a myspace page, marketing material (stickers, business cards etc), and polybags for our product.

The last step now is the catalog, there are to many options in phrase catalog, since we have 10 designs would I be able to get by with lets say a AWESOME theme on the front of a 8.5 x 11 100lb cover flyer, and on the reverse side have our products, style numbers, colors etc? The thing is we would like to use our catalog for retail customers direct as well as wholesale. So I guess that would entail having a seperate sheet for the pricing breakdown for wholesale accounts. What opinions can you give me here

Last question, as for the line sheet what are the breakdowns where you start discounting based on volume? ie: lets say a shirt all in cost you 4.35 cent, and we sell for 10.00 to wholesale cutomers, is there a formula for the best breakdown to have here? I want to make sure when I approach the buyers, that I have my terms setup properly, minimum orders correct, and everythign they will need to know to make this as turn key as possible. Does anyone have a sample sheet, or somethign I could reference to incoporate into my structure here? Thanks as usual for the support!!

First of all congratulations on what you have accomplished so far.

You shouldn't have to breakdown the cost of you shirt to your whlsle. customers. Just give them a minimum and a price.
Good luck.

That varies a lot. It's really going to be up to you. But if you require a large minimum it may drive away some of the smaller retailers or those just starting out with not much income. We sell various other items and the minimums vary greatly from our suppliers. Anywhere from $50 on up. Others require you to purchase a minimum number of certain products. Also once you're established as a customer the minimums get laxed because we are a return customer and they know we will keep coming back.

i wondered also about this, about selling to ppl with shops/boutiques, esp at say a trade show or something.

i asked some1 awhile back and he told me it might be an idea to create a catalogue with my brand info and colletion/designs in, then just let them look through and choose what they want and how many of. but i guess like it has been said, it would be best to set yourself a minimum order for each iguess.

what would be a good minimum for each design/garment?
