I have a space that is being given to me at a local car show. The spot is very small but free. Probably big enough for a table and a few boxes under. I was wondering what people would do to maximize the potential. I have a DTG and heat press at home for transfers. I was told the room will not be big enough to use there. I do not want to bring it and not be able to use it. I will be a few miles from home so it is an option to print ahead and bring some. How else would I be able to do this? I am going to promote to car clubs and the performers there to try and get business on a personal level after.
Thanks prometheus, I had a car team call me last night and want something nobody has yet. They want to stand out and get noticed. I think the promoter of the show is pushing work my way for this which is GREAT!!
I would do my best to have space enough to bring the equipment and at least do a showcase of your abilities. Just running the DTG will get you 10 times the interest than showing a business card and sample.

I definately agree with that. Me being a car show vet I can tell you what you have to think about. Electricity will be a big factor, normally if it's an outdoor event you will have to get a power generator, or if it's an inside event you will have to pay a fee to get electricity run to your booth. If you are outdoors definately have a 10 x 10 tent to stay out of the sun and have some shirts for people to handle and the other shirts for sale out of everyones hands. In outdoor events peoples hand get very dirty from sunblock and from carrying around drinks and other stuff. You can print some shirts with popular cars on them, just don't use their logo's and it is perfectly legal. No own can own the profile of a car, so as long as you don't use their logos and names you can put a picture of any car on a shirt.
AWESOME input, I am working on extra space but the promoter told me that it is overbooked for vendors and show cars so he has the word out if anyone is not showimg or would like to give up extra space to call me. It is outside and advice is great. Unfortunately it is a parking lot that only has so much room to put things in. I am working on a tent setup now.
