I think for the most part.. Popel at swap meets / flea markets are looking for cheap things.. There are people at alot of people selling cheap shirts for like 3 for 10.oo or even 5 for 10.oo .. to me it doesnt seem like there would be a market for quality products.. .. but who knows..

Doing specific events based on a certain market is a much better place to sell t-shirts.

My observation at swapmeets seems the same. And as a shopper at swapmeets, that is my expectation.

However, knowing this, it may be a good way to get rid of your overstock or low activity inventory. 3 for $10 - or 5 for $10 is better than $0. If you do that, though, I would recommend doing it near and before or immediately after the Christmas holidays.

Just a thought.

Another way to get rid of old stock is to do shows in your market and just have a $5.00 discount bin. We throw in any old dispay shirts from last years outdoor events and any mistake prints. Example....I did a custom shirt that said 350zx on it for a customer last year. Well I miss read the order as there is no 350 zx manufactured. That shirt just went into the bin and sold this weekend. There is no rhyme or reason why it sold other than someone had five bucks burning a hole in thier pants...and it was a woman who made the purchase.
