Default selling whole to stores and shops

hey what is the going rate as far as wholesaling to a store or shop? do they jus buy the shirts or do you have to collect from them? thanks!

Most retailers expect to mark up the wholesale price 100%.

Not sure what you mean here. If they buy shirts from you, then you should definitely collect the money.

Typically, you would like to sell to them wholesale. Retailers may want to agree to a consignment drop ship deal. These are more advantageous to the retailers, so it's up to you if you want to accept it or not.

a local store said they would sell them $15.00 splitting $7.50/$7.50 i was curious if stores bought them outright from you as well

Yes, many do buy them outright. What you have been offered is a consignment deal. Nothing wrong with it, but you are taking the risk, not the retailer.

We have been wholesalers for over 30 years, our general rule is that we only wholesale the printing aspect. Therefor our wholesale customers can up-charge the shirt part to what they want.

We offer price breaks at different quantities and also have a "OFF the street" printing sheet wich is 3x's the wholesale prices for customer that want to bring in their own shirts.

I don't the original poster is talking about selling printing services, they're talking about a wholesaling a clothing line to a retail store
