Default Any recommendations for event displays?

I'll be selling at my first event next month. The event space only allows for a 6' table with 2' at the side in order to gain access to the back of table. I want to have a hanging display of shirts and I was thinking of using a freestanding grid panel with waterfall arms to hang the shirts on. My only real concern is that when I went to order the darned thing the shipping is ($37) almost as much as the panel + legs + 3 waterfall arms ($42). Does anyone know of a decent vendor that has reasonable prices and reasonable shipping, or am I just being too frugal and I should take the above deal, OR do you have a better idea than a grid panel display that'll work in limited space?

As always, thanks for the input.

Bella, where are you located?

It's very likely that there's a local supplier where you can pick up a display.

I thought the same thing, but I can't seem to find any. Oh, I'm in Washington DC. Ya' don't happen to know any suppliers in my area, do ya'? That's a joke BTW.

Do you happen to do any skiing up at Whistler/Blackcomb? It sure is nice up there.

I don't ski, but I've heard it's very nice up in Whistler. We are having the winter Olympics there in 2010.

I'll look on Google for a supplier for you.. I am usually pretty good at finding those kind of things.

Thanks for looking. I really tried, but could only find online stores.

Even if one doesn't ski I think Whistler is a great place for a holiday. People are so nice, food is great, picturesque scenery, but the last time I was there was about 12 years ago so I hope it's still the same. We plan on taking a family trip there when out kids are a bit older.

What type of event did you do and how did it go? I am asked to do a motorcycle event on July 14.
