Exhibited for a different industry 6 or 7 times. It's all about wholesale. A lot of buyers for big chains and small store owners attend. Met a buyer from hot topic there who said they attend alot.
Looks like for a 10' x 10' booth, the rate is around $2,495.

It looks really favorable, very good price. $2~3000 is very acceptable, how many wholesalers will join in this exhibition? is it exhibit per year? If I was in US, I probably join it without any hesitation. For us, a company from China, we have to charge more than $10000 for flight tickets and something else.

Guys,
I was at the March Asd/Amd show in Vegas,
I was disapointed to not see more tees, or Sweatshirts, Garments,
That is what I went to buy, instead I came away, with the Idea of making our own, because of lack of Product being displayed, there, My Band shirt guy was there, but Honestly, No great Tees.
So then I went to the Ed Hardy shops and all the other great high end shops as well as the 4 for $10.00 shirts.
did a ton of Research,
Came home ordered my press and the rest is History, I know that I will be doing vinyl in the near future and silk screening as well.
We need to get our butts to these shows and start getting these tees into the hands of the shops and boutique's we all want to get into.

This show is for closeouts everything from moto cycles to apparel.
there are 3 shows with this one show, one is closeout but the other 2 are not, to my understanding,
the close out one was see it now , buy it,
the other 2 were showing the new lines while coming out in there catalogs, it was a awesome show, but not infiltrated with our goods,
except rhinestone tees.
I may be attending the aug one.
I think that sharing a booth for the forum members is a awesome idea, I am not ready to show, I am trying to keep up with orders right now and learning graphics right now and also learning silk screening, xara, and vinyl, when i get all my ducks in a row, i may be interested, but a great idea all the same, thank you

I own a discount variety store and have attended asd for 8 years now. I attend to get new ideas for merchandise for my store. Just the last six months, I started doing custom t's etc. as the tourist foot traffic in my store is pretty heavy. Bought a craft robo pro a couple of months ago and now I am in the sign, banner, decal business (go figure). Anyway, the asd is a great show, although it is huge and you can really get overwhelmnd. By the time you factor in booth rental, airfair, hotel, food and (gambling), your in it over five grand. Also, the freight issues to get your merchandise there and the union guy you have to pay to bring it into the center really adds up. It can be profitable, but you have to be prepared to react to the large and small customers that will visit your booth. Nothing pisses me off more than ordering something from one of the small exhibitors, only to find that they cannot deliver. Also, they won't prebook your order without credit card info. This can get pretty dicey when dealing with overseas companies. Not trying to dissuade anyone, just know a lot of small vendors that don't go to asd anymore because they don't get enough real orders.
