Default How to become a vendor at sports tourneys

Hi all!

What a great forum! I am wondering how to go about getting to do onsite events at softball, volleyball tournaments.

Who should I contact for this? The park or site where the event is being held or someone else?

My passion is sports tees from all of my daughters sports and tourneys that we have been at and would love to sell at these tourneys.

She now plays high school ball and we are out of the club ball loop so any info would be helpful!

Thanks!
Libby

For most club sport tourneys the primary contact will be the clubs tourney director or operations director. The facilities that host these events are typically paid a fee for field/court usage and have no interest in vending programs. Some exceptions do exist.

I normally start with the school coaches for school tourneys/events. The AD or principle normally have final say but the reccomendation of the coach who is coordinating the particular tournament/event is generally good enough for them.

Typically you will have to make a donation to sponsor the event. Sometimes you will be able to offer a percentage of sales but more often than not they will have a program in place.

usually you need to contact the organizer of the events, you can ask them if they will agree that you can sell your products during the even, and as far as i know there are payments required when you are going to put a selling section in an event.
