We have had our NeoFlex for 2 weeks now and I am very happy with the results. We have been keeping it busy and running production with speed and quality that we did not have with our Flexi-Jet. The RIP software is very useful when it comes to quality and reducing ink consumption. The Auto cleans for when we are not around are very nice. The service we have gotten from All American has been great they are always there to help with any questions. We are hoping to set up our solvent head later this week.

Sir,
Since you made a direct comparison regarding the FlexiJet product I would like to expand on your findings .
With all due respect, I find this rather disturbing since both printers use the exact same hardware micro weave patterns that in turn equate to the the exact same print quality.
The printing speeds are dictated based on the 48XX series and therefor are equal.

Again the quality of the output is more dependent on the 48XX hardware micro weave pattern.
As far as ink consumption goes: The amount of ink is based on the type of substrate being printed.
The RIP can dictate the drop size and total ink volumes but again this is gauged by the substrate and the desired results, so this is quite on odd statement.
What model Flexijet did you or do you have?

His machine: He owns L model.
Speed: He could not print many shirts at once before. I am sure you know why. I have been telling you this issue for a long time. Registration. Only reason many people bought L model was many shirts print at once but ~.
Flexi move all the way back after print. waste so much time to go all the way and come back all the way. NeoFlex cut this wasting time and respect muti shirts print in same pattern. And used much powerful servo motor to speed up. Printhead movement is not equal to production speed. Production is end of day shirts count. You are right 4800 and 4880 speed is same but when it comes head clog, night and day.
ps: many are saying Epson 1800-1900 is faster than Epson 4880 but I want to tell them Mercedes vs. Isuzu motor cycle. Their choice. Go to Epson.com
RIP: No longer RIP and Mfg are disagree on off registration issue. Neo RIP is user friendly and have few extras than iProof. I do not want say which is better or not. I have lots of respect to Fred. It was shame that I could not do business with him.
Did I answer all your questions? Digidenver must be busy now.
The main thing that is making up our speed is how fast the head moves across the machine. We are able to keep a more consistent flow in our shop with less waiting on the machine to run back and forth. As far as the rip goes I was not able to control as much with the old rip as we can with the Neo Rip software. I was able to get black and white images to come out better with just a few simple adjustments in the rip as opposed to having to adjust everything in our art software.

Thank you for your answer.
I'm not sure where you received training on how to RIP a black and white image but the auto mask using the Flexi RIP is a one click function.
If you owned a Flexijet you would have been a member of the Flexijet users forum that had many helpful threads on many topics.

iProof RIP (Flexijet RIP supplier) is very good RIP. Fred (RIP writer) knows what he is doing is so sure. We all know it but RIP along does not run whole printer.
Hardware + Chemical + RIP = Printer
He owned Flexijet for 1.5 years. He have been a member long time on forum. He knows Flexijet in and out.
Hi i'm thinking about buying neoflex, since you have one is there anything you could tell me about it. how good is the machine and is it cost affective for production

We have been selling NeoFlex about 2-3 months or so. We tested in over sea market before launch in USA (hardest market) because there are so many competitions and no second chance. Sold around 25 but no one except Denver is visiting this forum. I do not know it is good thing or bad thing. I hope it is good thing because they all too busy to sit front of screen and blog or looking for answers. I did not hear from Denver for long time but if you give me a call I will give his phone # and more references.
I just came back from FESPA digital show in Amsterdam. Show was very good. We received so many compliments, there were so many shirt printing machines around 15(?) majority was Epson 1800-2880 based machine. Solvent Printer Epson base was only 2. Epson 4880 based machine was MS Italy, DTG Aus, M&R, Greece, and of course ME Neoflex if there were more then I did not see. We have 100 or more real leads to follow up which never saw in USA. Economy looks better there than here (?) maybe? So many US Screen dealer was looking for new supplier was big benefit to us.
I am so glad NeoFlex is going in right direction.

I found couple things I can answer to you on your post.
1. Cost:
It is easy to find out the machine price. Call all the list on this forum.
Ink cost: All Printer ink consumption is neck a neck. Depends on image area and DPI you choose. Ink selling price: visit their web sites. No matter what DuPont ink is the best quality ink. There are some low cost inks but heard so many nightmare and received service calls. lost $/time over try to save penny.
2. Production: If you want production machine, multi platen set up is your choice. You do not wait and doing nothing until printer finished printing cycle. Multi platen will give you load unload while printer is printing but make sure that your choice machine can do it. Also will give you the benefit of super large image printing. Before you buy any machine, make sure Registration (first shirt image has to same as 2nd,3rd or 4th), repeating timing, Flat Platen/Bed, RIP. Electronic malfunction, Static (caused by poor wiring and board) --.
Production = End of the day shirts count not printhead moving speed. All 4880 base T shirts printer have different PRODUCTION RATE 100%.

This is off the subject but~. Yes we still carry AA ink. Economy brand and better for poly/carpet/tuff surface than DuPont. Complain rate is little higher than DuPont rate. Many other resellers are carry same brand (mfg) under their own OEM name exm:AAink or DTG ink etc. Thanks for visiting NeoFlex forum.

The NeoFlex is definitely cost effective for productions. We use ours for contract printing and we are able to be very competitive on pricing. We are running the dual cmyk setup so we are able to run fairly fast. I don't know what to tell you about running the Neoflex on dark garments. Do you have any specific questions about the printer? Please let me know what you would like to know and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
I have a neoflex for about three months and still haven't been able to produce a quality white ink on anytype of garment light, white or dark. but as far as quality I have not had any complaints from customers who haven't white. is there a trick that I a missing?

I have no idea who you are but it doesn't matter. You are the one of buyers when I launched.
Bottomline is
1. pretreatment skill
2. RIP using/art
Call Justin please or office. We will go through step by step.
Send us some dark shirts then we will pretreat with our Niagara and send back to you at no charge.
I hope you using some white ink and shaking because we did not have sealed cartridge (recommend) 3 months ago.
Do not trust auto cleaning system too much on white ink.
Thank you
PS: Please come to our class/open house. I'll buy you beer! cheers
