Hi, i have read a lot of posts and looked on a lot of web sites and aaahhhh... im so confused. Im trying to find good quality, tagless baby clothes but what is a good price and how do you know that the t-shirt will stand up to use and washing?? As you can tell, im just starting out..
There are a lot of great ideas out there, thanks for your help!
I'm no expert and I've made my share of mistakes! It requires a little research and spending a little more money for higher quality. Check out the weight and fabric content to start. I personally prefer to spend a little more for the higher quality; however, there is a market for the cheap stuff too. Market to all needs. Baby stuff is fun! Good Luck.
Is there any other way to go about checking the quality of shirts than buying samples from each of the companies? I'm new to this too, and I'm really in the information gathering stage. Is that something I'm going to have to budget for?

Pretty much. It doesn't cost a lot of money, and there's no better way to know if something is good quality than to see and test it: it's an important decision. You can see some samples at a tradeshow, which might help you rule out a few options or find some new ones, and you can get information from the manufacturer and the forums (so for example if you are looking for a thick shirt there's no point looking at aa, etc.) that might help rule out some options.
But ultimately you'll need to buy and test samples.
would buying shirts from champs or finishline or walmart and so on be considered sampling? i mean if u go to the store and buy a heavy hanes shirt, is that the same shirt i'll get when i buy bulk heavy hanes shirt?

take your time and plan on going to one of the big shows... most blank companies will be there for you to touch and feel.

Not necessarily. Hanes does have different products for their wholesale line and their consumer lines.
