 T-Shirt and hat combo
I am looking for a t-shirt and hat combo that was very popular in Brooklyn, NY during some point in the 90's. This was sort of similar to how Karl Kani got started, as you could only find the shirts that I am talking about on the street, being sold by sreet vendors. I want to say the name of the line was "CHARLIE" something. The shirts were really just some heavy heavy tee's, with a neon strip going across the chess, which contained the small tag with the company's name/logo. Hat's were like a racing cap, with the same neon strip going vertical down the middle.
To me, this shirt and hat combo is vintage, as it never became big, but as far as my "hood" was concerned the person who made this stuff was a legend. I never figured out who it was, never learned about the company, never seen the shirts again after like a summer or two, but they were very popular.
