Does anyone remember "Bad Dog" Beach Shirts Panama City '86?
I am search for t-shirts which appear in Panama City around 1986 to 1988 They featured a character (logo) named "Bad Dog" or "Dog Gone Bad" who was a two dimensional dog in an otherwise three-D world. One showed BD or DGB waking up with a cute blond girl, his clothes and hers are strung around the room with various bottles and party things while frat guys are plastered to window gawking in. Another showed BD walking through a city a la Godzilla and the caption read: "He wouldn't come, he wouldn't sit and he use to be such a good dog! Dog Gone Bad!" The graphic were very clever and well done. In the same time there were Buckwheat (Little Rascals) Surf shirts, which featured Buckwheat saying, "The Waves are O-Tay Today". I only mention this because they may have manufactured the same company. I am ISO the Bad Dog shirts, can anyone help please?

Hi, I use to spend summers in Fort Walton Beach / Pensacola and buy the same t-shirts for me and my step-son .. That is "Bad Dog T-****s and Dog Gone Bad T-shirts" ... They were fun Tees ... I just happent to be googling for Bad Dod Tees today and I came across this forum and your search for the same Tees. Hey, I am also looking for those t-shirts... If you happen to come across who the designer was and /or where are those same t-shirts sold; please let me know...

LOST DOG!!! Does anyone recognize this dog? Does anyone know who owns it? It was last seen around Panama City FL in 1986? He a very "Bad Dog"! Seriously, does anyone know who the designer of this character is?

if they are native to the panama city, fort walton area i will attempt to find out for you. i live in between the two in santa rosa beach. about 30 minutes from both locations.

This looks like this might be the surf shop listed on the tag - Suncoast Surf Shop Treasure Island Florida. The clothing link doesn't work and it was last updated in 2005.

Okay, I checked their site, no dog found. I emailed them, no response. The search continues. Where, oh, where is the designer of the BAD DOG?

I bought some in NC in the 80's the last time I was there they weren't selling them anymore they where called American Bad Dog I've been on a quest for years with no luck too bad they where very clever

I live in Panama City and work at PC Beach. Some of the old shops are still around from back then. I'll go by one and see if they remember anything. That property has probably changed hands a few times since the 80's. The development has been crazy the last 5 years.
