Hi we're looking to get a MS-One and at the recent ISS show we were told their ink cost for printing on black was $0.60 per sq foot. How realistic is this? It seems there is a consensus related to costs of printing on white shirts ($0.20-$0.50/shirt) but the black ink cost estimates vary wildly.This is making me wonder if there is any independent source to confirm estimates we were given at the ISS show. On the web there have been examples of prints costing as much as 4.50$ in white ink.
Can any of the MS-One users share their average ink costs for printing on black?
My guess is someone told you an inaccurate price. Most likely they didn't know or misunderstood. That would mean a 12"x12" design would cost $0.60 on black which I don't see happening.
I would say a 12x12 would be $2.00 to $4.50 depending on coverage.
Agreed. I guess I should have furthered my comment, but I would say this is accurate. Of course it depends on coverage, that's why there is such a difference in range.
