ANyone use pretreat with mimaki 604d?

I don't use discharge as of yet. Former owner of tjet. Big step up from tjet as far as machine is concerned. Software terrible. Still not impressed with colors on tshirts. I will say I have gotten a much better print from the tjet then mimaki. Wondering if I would pretreat on a shirt if colors would pop? Has anyone did this with mimaki doe it make a difference?
