Angry i-dot inks?

ok, so with usscreen gone i believe our german distributor already eliminated the fast ink 3s. they only offer idot inks and gave no explanation what these are?

does any1 know what's inside the idot inks, who manufactures them and can i use fastink3 incl. pretreatment along with it??

if you have an idea, please let me know. we need white ink asap.

best, d

From what I have read on these forums and other places, most people selling dtg ink use Depont, so the ink that I-dot sells would work in any other epson based printer like a t-jet as far as I know but I don't actually own one.

We have an IDot, it uses Dupont Artistry ink.

Anyone know the proper way to cure this ink once it's printed?

Set heat press to 350*F
For shirts without an under base hover your heat press for one minute, then press the shirt for two consecutive one minute presses.
For shirts with an under base hover your heat press for one minute, then press the shirt for two consecutive one minute presses, if the ink still feels a little tacky after that press an additional minute.

Same ink, the distributer in Germany (for I-Dot) gets their ink right from Dupont so they may have had old Fast Ink bottles laying around.

b) here it is again...

interesting post, multicopy....

what is staybright4 about? is it dupont inks? it costs you 140€ /l which sure is amazing compared to 220€ /l for dupont artistri white ink.

did you have to flush your system in order to use it or can it mix with dupont inks? how much does pretreatment cost? how long does it have to cure? how about washability?

The development of StayBright4™ Professional Direct to Garment ink is the biggest step forward for the DTG market since the original concept was developed over six years ago. IGS-UK have partnered with a specialist ink manufacturer with over 30 years experience in the garment decoration industry to develop StayBright4™. The first serious competitor in Europe, StayBright4™ not only offers an economical alternative to other DTG inks, it has been specially developed to reduce clogs in the print head and dampers. Reduced separation between the pigment and vehicle solution substantially reduces waste, improves quality and speeds up production.

Hi, It is not Dupont or re branded. It is a totally new ink. It has been tried and reported on in the forum already with great results.
