Default Imageclip... missing "specks" when lazer printing...

I have figured out what the "lightest" colors I can use on my images, to get good adhesion of the polymer during the first press.

I also have my press temp and pressure "nailed down" to get consistent first press results.

But occasionally... there will be a missing "speck" or two when I print my image using my OKI Printer... and it is driving me nuts.

It is not in the same place everytime... and not everytime I print.

Maybe I need to do the "Print several blank sheets to warm up the printer more" or ???

I have not noticed if it only happens during the first few printings of a long run... i.e. only when my printer is not hot enough... and I am getting better at spotting these (so I simply waste $1.10 sheet of image paper... and not create a giveaway shirt.)

Do any of you have this problem?

Brett

Run few blank sheets to warm the fuser up. Also use the Ultra heavy media setting in the driver and set the cardstock media in the printer settings. That is the hottest setting you can get with Oki printer.

I just set everything to card stock, extra heavy, highest quality print, etc...

Hopefully... hot, with plenty of toner... will solve my problem.

Thanks...
