I recently purchased a HP laserjet 5000n to print film for shirts. I need some help setting it up it currently only has 8mb of memory and I can not tell if it is set up with Post script or not. I have installed a PS Driver and the test print came out fine. As soon as I printed a small picture only 328k it timed out and then started printing a lot of pages.

I need to know how many drivers should I install on this printer and how much I should increase the ram. Also does it already have the capabilty to do halftones with the PS Driver or is there something else I need to do to upgrade the printer.

I use to go to a print shop where they used this printer to run plates and I want to be able to print film as well.

Maddog, I think it your driver not the memory. I also don't know what operating system your using. Window XP and Vista are 2 different animals. If your using Vista try in print settings right click and run as XP version. John
