Hey guys, I have a problem. I bought couple of Forever Classic transfer papers, bud it almost always stucks in the fuser unit. When I select "LABELS" paper settings, it stucks, when I select plain paper settings, it doesnt stuck, it comes throught but its not fused propertly. Have anyone any experience with this printer? Thank you.

The settings that I have is normal paper or transparent. You can try heavy media weight if the toner does not fuse with normal or transparent setting.

Conde is the distributor of Forever products. Try calling their support staff.

Also go to Forever website and check their printer compliant list.

Here is the URL: Forever Digital Transfer Applications Technology

Click on the link above then click English. Click on printer compliant list under support in the right bottom corner. Your printer might be in that list.

Thanks for your response. I might know, where is a problem. I tried to print on Forever Classic, but on Forever web site is written, that they are suitable only for printers with silicone oil fusing. I dont know, has C5300 silicone oil fusing? I didnt find it anywhere. Few years ago, I used to print on Forever Classic+ universal and they worked fine, so I'll try to buy couple of these and it should be ok.

You are right Forever Classic is for oil fuser printers. Oki color laser newer and other brand models has oi less fuser. I believe most of the color laser nowadays are oi less fuser printer. I own C5200ne that has been discontinued has oi less fuser. You need to use Forever Classic+Universal or Forever Star Universal.

Here is a link to printer compatability media chart published by Okidata. Your printer is list will all the models that are categorized as oil less furer printer: http://my.okidata.com/PP-C5300n.nsf?opendatabase

The user manual warns that the media should be able to withstand 460F or 230C for 0.2 seconds. So to answer your question C5300 is oil less printer.

Here is the link to the manual: http://my.okidata.com/PP-C5300n.nsf?opendatabase

Where are located? I would highly suggest that you try Imageclip for laser. It is self weeding and you would not fusing problem provided that you use Multipass tray and Ultra High media weigth.

When I tried Forever products light and opaque I did not have any luck. I still have some left after I tried once or twice of the light and opaque transfers.

Forever Classic+Universal had too much visible polymer around the image. It does not wash off. The opaque was OK until it was washed and expossed to dryer heat. Both light and opaque transfers cracked. The opaque was worse. It was peeling badly in several places.

I would like to try Imageclip, but I am from Czech Republic and I cant find any distributors of these foils here. I will keep looking, maybe I will find something.

If you live in the Czech you could go to the Neenah Gessner GMBH. site.Their parent company make this paper and I,m sure they have a list of all their wholesalers in or close to you.
