Can I make my own laser transfer? Are they viable for commercial sale?

Default Can I make my own laser transfer? Are they viable for commercial sale?

I need a small quantity of laser transfers. I outsourced these but the company I was using went out of business.

TXpress I don;t think is an option because there are only 5, and they are all different.

I have the tees and a heat press. Would it be possible for me to make my own with a inkjet printer? and if so would these hold up to sell in a commercial business?
Thanks for any help

Default Re: need laser transfers made for me

yes you can do you own, BUT you need to have a good printer with pigment inks...and a good paper. I think the heat press section has some info on this

YES! With regular color toner.
Better than ink jet and no special inks required.
Check out Auto Art Transfers for their laser transfer papers and Duracotton paper.

I use a regular(oversized) epson 1400 printer (inkjet) with dye inks (OEM) and Jet Pro Soft Stretch transfer papers and it does great. Nothing special like pigment inks or any voodoo formulas.
