Default Light & Dark Transfer Paper using C88+ Printer?

I just bought an Epson C88+ printer and the HT ink from Inkcarts.us so now I just need the paper. I'm mostly going to do cotton t-shirts and maybe some bags. I understand that you have to use one type for lights and one for darks. What are your suggestions for each?

Also, for the darks if I don't want the white background to show up, what kind of cutter do I use....or are regular scissors just fine?

Thanks so much for any help!!!
Diana

What time and temp did you use to apply the transfer? Also, what was the name of the paper?

What do you mean the paper came off my shirt, did you wash the shirt before removing the
transfer paper, that doesn't make sense.

The transfer is called plastisol. It is probably made by him in house or custom made for him. That is the process that will work for light and dark shirts, depending on how it is done, that does not need trimming. It is screen printed on the release paper with no polymer involved that inkjet or laser transfer uses to transfer the image on the shirt.

There are preferred vendors in the forum that will custom make your design. It is not cost effective for one offs. You need to buy about 25 pieces to get a decent price per piece.

Check the list of vendors under the Preferred Vendors in the left column of the page.
