Default Is OKI 5300 ok for Imageclip Paper?

Hi there how are you?

Just wondering if there is anyone out there that can help me.

I am looking at using a heat transfer paper that leaves no window so after investigation I foudn the image clip is teh way to go. Wil an OKI 5300 work well with this paper?

Can anyone throwm me any suggestions please.

C5300 is fine for Imageclip. The red sheet does not have any polymer so jamming is not an issue. Just make sure you use the Multi Purpose tray, rear paper exit tray and Ultra heavy Media setting so that the toner will fuse properly. Feed 1 sheet at a time.

Gotta warn you. Imageclip does not work well with very light/gradient color or photo. It is best used for spot color designs.

Joe,

You sent me a message, but you are not set up to receive my response, so I will put it here:

I am using the Oki 5300 for transfers, but not much. The jobs I have been doing recently have been more suited to cut vinyl or purchased transfers. I have been working with ImageClip, but it is a 2-step process, so not really a good fit for large runs. I did try using the setting for card stock on my printer, and it seemed to help.
