Default old heat transfer prints

The old transfer prints i used were terrible and cracked but the sweats i put them on are still good,any way of getting the old transfer off.If I reheated them with something on top would it peel off if so what can i use?
I don't use that paper any more hehe Any suggestion would be good thnks

Transfers are made to stay on the shirt so removing them is virtually impossible....except with a pair of scissors :-)!!
