I have a major problem that I'm hoping someone could help me out with..
I had a paper jam while printing on duracotten HT paper yesterday evening. I used the signle paper tray to insert the sheet. The paper managed to stick to the fuser and rolled around the fuser roll. I immidietly took the fuser out of the printer and pulled the paper out. Since then, the printer has all three lights that blink quickly. According to the manual it says to call service if this happens!
I'm fairly confident the problem is related to the fuser. My question is, does someone know what to do in this case? The fuser looks fine aside from some thin residue around one of the rollers.
Is there a way to clean it perhaps?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Notes:
1- I have been using this printer along with Duracotton HT paper for years without any issues until yesterday.
2- I made sure to pass 6-8 sheets of paper through the printer prior to passing the Duracotton HT paper.

Hi
that happened to me using HT bit I think my printer wasn't hot enough however we got the paper off we phoned OKI up to ask their advice they were very helpful (we got a new fuser as still under guarantee) so i would contact them for advice I keep a spare 1 now and it hasn't happened again ( touches wood)
Sorry not very helpful I know
Thanks for the reply.. That's what I was afraid of! Is it even worth buying a new fuser or would you recomment buying a new c3400 or another OKI that is in the same $250 price range? I also need to replace the black toner so I'm thinking a new printer will run about the same cost as buying a new black toner AND a fuser!
What do you think? Is there a $250 OKI model out there that performs well with Duracotton HT paper?
