Default Laser Transfer Paper for Photos on Light Fabrics?

I'm looking at getting imageclip paper for printing on light fabrics with my Oki C3400n. However, it is not recommended for photos.

Neenah Laser 1 Opaque is recommended for Phtoos, but is for dark garments. (Side question: can I use a silicon baking sheet repeatedly instead of using the silicon papers with the Laser 1 Paper?)

What do you all recommend for photos on light garments with laser printers?

You can try Techniprint or Ariwaves Elite premium but you have to trim close to the image or you will have polymer window problem. Or any laser transfer on light fabric you need to trim except Imageclip. When you say silicon baking sheet do you mean parchment paper? It is good for about 10 pressings and it will start to turn brown that can be problematic.

You can try Phototrans Clc Paper- or Lasersoft Transfer from www.proworldinc.com or the TransferWear selections from www.tshirtsupplies.com to name a few.

I mean the baking sheet you mention in this thread:
imageclip. Is it any good?

Instead of these (product SS8511):
Sublimatable Products, Production Systems, Sublimation Inks, Heat Press Machines - Order Online! - DyeTrans.com

BTW, I emailed Conde to see what they recommended, and they said to try the imageclip for the photos.

Correction, another employee from Conde recommended Techniprint, and reiterated the concern about gradients with imageclip.

You can use it provided that you cover Laser 1 opaque with parchment paper. The coating of Laser 1 may stick to the silicon baking cookie sheet. It is not suppose to but it could. Anyway I don't use Laser 1 opaque. The purpose of the silicon sheet with Imageclip is to maintain the heat on the papers while peeling them apart. It helps minimize the polymer specks in the unprinted area of the red/image sheet. It also improves the coverage of the polymer transferred from the green/polymer sheet on the printed area or the red/image sheet. The silicon gets pretty hot to handle at recommended pressing temp for Laser 1 opaque.
