Default Laser Transfer Paper Question

If I'm planning on doing a full color square with a laser transfer paper, can I just cut the square out and skip the weeding paper step? Or do you have to heat press the 2nd paper onto the first paper no matter what?

Is it ImageClip paper you are using? If so, the second paper is to remove the polymers around the non-printing areas of the image.

Don't really know, it should just print the square and what's in it.

I think I answered my own question watching a video. It looks like the second sheet also prepared the printed image for pressing by adding that "haze" they talk about to the image.

Imageclip red/image sheet does not have polymer to transfer the image directly from it. Unless you are using it on hard goods. It has to be pressed against the green/polymer sheet in order to transfer the polymer from it on to the red/image sheet. So the answer is no you can not press the red/image by itself without pressing it against the green/polymer sheet. Why you buy Imageclip if you are not going to use it the way it is meant to be. Buy a one step laser transfer like Duracotton HT or Techniprint or something besides imageclip.
