Looks great!. My only thing is how are kornit users gonna feel when brother finally releases their GT-782 for a fraction of the cost and just as fast. Though the machine has no history yet, Brother has a excellent one.

Nice prints
I wish you well with the new machine. I hear it is a love or hate relationship. No personal experience with that machine but that is what I have heard.

Good luck, hope you do great

Of course we can't go by the should've would've could'ves. Otherwise, no one would ever advance in the industry. There are people who know about the Kornit and some other printers that are much much lesser in price. Some of the smaller units can actually do just as good of a job. The person purchasing the machine I'm sure has weighed all the options before making that kind of investment.

Personally, I would never invest that much into one printer, but that is just me. I know of several who have and are doing well at it. The Brother isn't even out yet and they only have a target date. As with any printer that uses white ink with TO2, there will be issues and Brother's included in that mix. They may be able to keep it down to a minimum, but I suspect their tech support will need to ramp up just like EVERY other company that introduced white ink into their machines.

I'm sure the brother will be great too. This process is new and always changing. I'm sure in years to come more companies go digital. But as for me, I am happy with what I got!

Congrats on your purchase. If I was a betting man, your new machine is already setup with the new Interlace software Kornit has developed. This software will eliminate the majority of the issues we have seen over the past 3 years of Kornit ownership.

The investment was wise as long as you have the business model to support the investment. Brother may, and I say may because they still haven't announced a release date for their new machine, be cheaper to purchase, but from what I was told at the SGIA show, the cost to print a colored shirt will almost be triple of the Kornit. It doesn't take long to make up the intial investment difference at that rate.

yes, it has new Lid with plexi so you can see whats going on and the new inline gas feature ($16,000 options) and interlaced printing...AWESOME!!!! Plus the new Kornit rip...its cool also. I got onyx too.
i think we are the only ones that have those features so far. From what I have done this week ( I love it )

We are having the Interlace and new Rip software installed on Monday. The demonstrations I have seen produce amazing results.

The plexiglass is a great feature and will help maintain a more controlled environment inside the machine because you won't have to keep the lid open during production. I may actually look to see if we can do something similar with our existing equipment.

What is the new in-line gas feature? That I have not heard about.

the inline degasser takes out any air from the lines so you want have any small gaps and what not...an option for high production.
