Default re these good on Polyester bball jerseys?

Hi there
I'm new to transfers (I do DTG) and was thinking of getting plastisol transfers for a jr high school basketball uniform. They need numbers and a large logo placed on both sides of a reversible jersey.
I have received numerous samples for plastisol transfers, but I think they are so heavy and stiff. I was wondering if an Opaque Inkjet transfer would be durable enough for this application. Have any of you used injet transfers for team uniforms? Are they bright enough? Do they work on 100% polyester? do they last without cracking and peeling?
Or would you just recommend going with plastisol transfers?

thanks for all your wisdom!
Laura

I haven't seen or heard of a DTG number worth anything on an athletic jersey. Because you need durability, and also opacity from the polyester bleeding, a heat transfer is the best way to go. I have done thousands and they have never cracked or peeled after correct application. When you see jersey numbers peeling off, that's because they weren't put on with the correct time, temperature, and pressure.
