Default another questiion about transfers for darks

all of the shirts i do and sell are done on white using jpss and i get really good results...i`ve got some transfers for darks which i`ve had for a while but i`m really put off using them as i really dont like the shirt to feel like its got a dinner plate attached to it...are there any transfers on the market that are soft in touch when they are put on the shirt

There are opaque papers for darks that use an extremely thin film. However, please keep in mind, that to print on dark colors you must use a white base. This adds to the thickness of the print, whether it is transfer paper, screen printing or direct to garment printing. You might find that your customer has no problem with the thickness. Try it...you might like it!

When I use opaque paper (which is not very often), I like the Ironall for Darks. It is thin, and somewhat stretchable.

Do keep in mind though that because it is a thin material, if your design has a white background, your shirt color will show through the white a little bit.

Also, while I use my HP printer for lights, those inks don't work well on opaque transfers. For those, I use my Epson. But you're probably already aware of the pigment vs dye ink issues.
