I am experiencing some horrendous problems with inkjet dark peeling off, in some instances with the release paper, even though the temperature and pressure instructions are being followed to the letter. I have spoken to Xpres and the manufacturer, Adkins, replaced the lower platen, sent material back, wasted an inordinate amount of transfer paper (and hence money) and am at my wits end. We have just moved in to a retail unit and people are wanting photographic transfers on to dark or intense colours and I'm having to turn custom away until I can discover the exact problem. Has anyone else had this problem and what on earth is the solution?
I'd be grateful if someone knows a possible answer and can help. I've followed all the advice from the supplier and manufacturer to no avail.
