Default Blue Grid Pressing HELP

i easily figured out how to to jpss pressing since it was so damn easy lol

now im onto blue grid printing on blacks. in the online instructions it says use silicon

what does it mean silicon sheet? the sheet that i peel of? the one with the blue grid? or the side on which the white was on? i want that glossy feel

i pressed it first with the side that didnt have blue grid. it was smooth but there was issue was that it seemed to absorb some of the color. and i think i made a mistake of hot peeling it.

im not too sure because the instructions that came with the sheet said cold peel. the online instructions says peel after pressing. also the instructions it came with says 5-7 seconds while online says 12-15

The silicone sheet is the same as the parchment paper that is available from the grocery store and baking supply store. You can use the backing to cover it but you will have a glossy finish. There should have 1 per 10 sheets that came with the transfer. 15 to 20 seconds is tool long. The transfer will loss its opacity and dye from 50/50 shirt will sublimate through. I use 6 seconds. Peel the silicone sheet or the backing when the shirt and transfer are completely cold or the coating that binds the ink will still be too soft and it will lift off with the ink with it.
