Is it banding? Little white lines in the print? If it is, try to increase the output of ink by increasing the quality setting, like from text to photo... maybe that will help. It works for me. Good luck.

A dumb question, have you checked your media setting or as Kelly said is your setting for quality setting set on text&photo. I'm assuming the settings are similar to my C88, have you contacted Coastal? or Epson. Mike
Hi I have the 1400 epson printer with cis and I have to set it on photo to get the print right.
I have notice that JPSS sucks the ink up where other transfer paper it set on top that is why lot people at first look after they print see the paper is dull then when press you can see the color come out on the shirt..

i came to a conclusion that this paper is defective. i opned my brand new c88+ with durabrite brand new did couple test prints on regular paper and printed this on jpss and same lines on the same exact place i will contact coastal business for a exchange or something i know i am not going crazy. lol
I think you are on to something if the lines are in the same exact place again....
One thing though, regular paper does not act at all like transfer paper, not like the Ironall or JPSS. Only transfer paper acts like transfer paper when run thru the printer.
I know because I used to try to adjust my settings (advanced printer settings) and test print on regular plain white paper (to save money bc that's alot cheaper than transfer paper...) but the prints from the regular paper were not anything like the transfer paper (neither Ironall or JPSS) .... so I had to cut the transfer paper little and print 3x5's to test the color settings, etc....
I agree, with David, too, the JPSS seems to suck up the ink. It looks dull when it is printed, but it presses vibrantly for me. I was worried when I first used it, but it looked nice when peeled.
Good luck with the paper. I hope if it is defective, they replace it for you quickly so you can keep moving along. If you get a chance, will you let us know if you confirm that it's defective with Coastal... then if other's have the same problem, we'll know to mention this thread to them... thanks.
Best regards!!

these were on the jpss the ones i posted. i put one on a mousepad and you can see the line on the mousepad. i did a sample on a white tshirt same thing as well. looks like not enough ink on that partucular section of the paper. i am not sure but i am not wasting anymore blanks and paper.
Sorry, Mike, I think my question wasn't too clear, if you were answering me.
You said you liked the Jetpro Sofstretch Active paper the best. I have only used regular JPSS... I was wondering if you used the JPSS Active on cotton and loved it, when you made your post above....
Did you have trouble with the lines on JPSS or JPSS Active paper? Thanks again, sorry for so many questions... =)

my bad i had problems with the jpss . the lines occured on the jpss regular one.
i like the jpss active wear it comes out nice and clear images vs regular one. i mainly do mouse pads and small chest logos. i wanted to appologize to the people who are waiting for the results but unfortunantly i had to use the paper i had problems with. i took a small left chest logo job and i basically printed far left of the page where i didnt have any problem and used that portion. i just couldnt wait for the exchange. but i still belive that paper had some issues .
