Default Anyone have expierence with EZ-Trans paper?

I am such a newbie here folks. I followed a lead for EZ-Trans paper that I understood would make inkjet ink transfers. The paper the vendor sold me insists that it does that. However needs sublimation inks. Does that mean all EZ-Trans paper require sublimation ink? And how do I protect myself in the future from paper labeled as Inkjet compatible but not inkjet ink compatible? I did this before I found this site. Many of you have suggested Jetpro SS is the way to go. I have one sheet sample of the JPSS so will test that out today. Any help or insight is appreciated. (PS the EZ-Trans sold to me does not have any marks on the back side.)

Las, not familiar with the EZ-Trans but the JPSS is definitely for ink jet printers. Good luck.

Thanks Ed, I will try the JPSS once I've gone through some other paper already ordered from an old trusted seller. The EZ Trans paper wasn't represented honeslty. So want to make sure I don't play into the same mistake twice. The old saying if it's too good to be true...then it's no deal comes to mind here. I have 48 sheets of so called EZ-transpaper that will do inkjet-sublimation or sublimation ink transfers but not inkjet ink transfers. But I understood that ink sublimation was ink sublimation and yet a dye-sublimation printer I had won't work either. The message I'm getting from all of you here is JPSS JPSS JPSS...and I get it.
Thanks

I myself Have used the EZtrans Jet Pro Softstrecth for over a year now and it works perfectly. I don't know what you are going on about because it works with all inkjet printers. I have an epson stylus D120 and it works great.

Also lasMT the paper has and will always be represented honestly. You ahve chose to read about it the wrong way and this paper is 10 times better and EZier than the Magic Touch and always will be.

And mrdavid. No one will KNOW anything because their is nothing to know, the product works fine, so you must be doing it wrong.

If you had any problems you should of contacted EZtrans direct because they give me great customer service.

I am one of the members that mentioned EZtrans.

Whoever told you that you definitey need to use sublimation ink is not entirely true unless they have inkjet transfer paper that is stricly for sublimation. Maybe he is trying to sell sublimation ink. I hope that was not his motive. Sublimation ink is very expensive.

Here is a link to the EZTrans Sofstretch inkjet transfer:

EZ101 Softstretch Inkjet Transfer Paper

Please read in the bottom about ink compatability. Sublimation ink is just one of the inks that will work with the transfer paper.

Most of the product they sell are Neenah papers. Neenah is mentioned out in the open in the webpage. Neenah is the manufacuter of JPSS. If you surf around EZtrans' website they are rebranding Neenah products by adding EZTrans with the transfer name.

If I am not mistaken the EZTrans Softstrech is rebranded JPSS. As a matter of fact it says right on the page that its a Neenah product. Let me ask you this. Did you even tried it with your inkjet printer before you ruled out that it will not wotk for you because you were told that you definitely need sublimation ink? Testing at least one would have not hurt. It would not even hurt your printer or heatpress. You would lose the shirt. But you can use a scrap of fabric and get the same result.

BTW Neenah has anounced a central distributor in Germany that will sell their product throughout EU.

If you are interested I posted that anouncement in the laser transfer section.

I buy Neenah papers from www.yolo.co.uk - they don't rebrand or change the name sof products so it is easier to see what you are buying. I'm not sure how the pricing stacks up between the differe,t sites but I like to have the flexibility to buy samples and smaller pack sizes.

I have used EZ-Trans and it is for sublimation. I tried it on cotton just for grins. The result was poor. But it works on various sublimation blanks.

I'm in the UK and I use EZtrans.
For Inkjet: EZ101=jpss EZ102=jet pro opaque.
For Laser: EZ201= techniprint 4.0 EZ202=opaque one.
I have used them all and I would recommend them.

We stock the Neenah papers in the UK - to avoid confusion we tend to not change the product names. I can highly recommend all of the Neenah papers. Some people find that they need to do a bit of testing with their heat press and fabric to find the optimum pressing time and temperature but overall the feedback from our customers is very good.
