Default inkjet dark transfer paper without a white background

I have just started a small t-shirt printing business but i already work in a shop full time so i know about the problems with dark transfers i.e white background, how long they last, the feel of the transfer on the garment.......so is there a transfer paper in the uk that is used on dark clothing through an inkjet printer that is better than the usual stuff from places such as xpres.
Also is there a way of doing it through a roland gx-24 plot cutter as i have one of those too.

anybody who can help me pleeeeeeeeeease reply to the post or pm me, it's really annoying

cheers curt.

IronAll or IYA for dark is an inkjet transfer paper. So as Jet Opaque, Blue Grid, ColorPrint opaque and Roland Opaque but but they are not as soft and stretchy as IronAll. They are vinyl cutter compatible though. IronAll or IYA is difficult to cut because it stretches while being cut. GX24 is ideal for cutting opaque transfer. You have to use the contour cutting feature with registration marks to accurately cut the image and weed out the unwanted material. You also need Masking material to keep the image together when peeling it off the backing and pressing the image on the shirt.

I believe most of those transfers are available in UK. If not some US vendors will ship to UK.

It sounds like IronAll is a one-step process. Do you have a link for this product?

Heat Transfer Paper, Iron On Transfer Paper, T Shirt Transfer Paper | New Milford Photo sells the IronAll for dark. It is being sold as Jet Wear IYA Dark by Tshirtsupplieswhich is a preferred vendor. Tshirtsupplies' link is on the left side of the page under preferred vendors.

IronAll seems expensive at almost $2.00 per sheet....am I missing something or is that simply the price you pay for good prints on dark shirts.

Jet Wear IYA dark is cheaper. BTW I am sorry for posting the New Milford Photo. The vendor has very negative review. Lots of members are having major issues with the vendor with past and present orders not dealt properly.

Another alias for IronAll dark is Translution for Dark. It is sold by ColorStarInk.com. It is not posted on the website. You have to call the toll free number. The price is also cheaper than IronAll for dark.

Thanks for the heads up on the New Milford Photo. I would like to find a good solution to transferring onto a dark shirt. I will look at Translution for dark. Thank you again!

I mentioned Jet Wear IYA dark because it is made by the same people who made IronAll Dark. Again it is sold by Tshirtsupplies that is a forum preferred vendor. Some times preferred vendors offers discount to forum members. Check the preferred vendor discount link.

Awesome! Will do thanks. You have any suggestions on a CIS system for an epson 1280 printer? That is my other mission for today

I don't use CIS because of the many bad reviews I read about CIS such as ink starvation and damper failure. I use refillable cartridges and third party pigment inks for heat transfer that I bought from InkjetCarts.us. Much cheaper than most and the refillable is IMHO is cheaper way to go. IF you go with CIS InkjetCarts.us has them as well as InkjetFly.com, Coastal Business (preferred vendor), Conde System and Inksupply.com. Those are the major players that I know and read in the forum.
