Hello
I'm new to this business, and I've been reading a lot of posts here.
I have a Roland GX-24, a Migthy Press 16x20 and now I need the printer, mine is a Hp officejet. Anyways from what I've been reading, the printer to go Is Epson, correct me if I'm wrong, but I've been looking at the epson 1400, CIS Pro-Flo feeder from Bestblanks.com and JPSS paper from Coastal.
Does anyone uses a setup like this?
Thanks in advance for your help
WILL
Yup, I use a similar setup. 1400 printer with an inkjetfly CIS and JPSS paper. Works great.

I use the printer for everything - multiple color and phtographic heat transfers, black films for screen printing, and normal office use (invoices, bills, etc.). I had some problems in the beginning with the ink blotting on the paper, but it turned out that the reservoirs were just too high and the ink was forcing itself out of the printer. I lowered the tanks and since then I've had zero problems.

I have an epson 1280 and would like to get a CIS system any recommendations? I went to inkjetfly and there seems to be a couple options such as number of colors (6 or 8) and size of containers. Thanks for your help!
I only see the 6-color setup for the 1280 printer - you just have to choose between pigment ink and dye ink. If you're printing heat transfers and films for screen printing you'll want the pigment ink.

Thanks for the reply. I actually purchased a system with 6 colors which should be here by the end of the week. I will post how it is to set up and how it works out. Oh and I did get pigment ink.
