Angry Having problems with siser heat transfer materials

I was just curious if anyone else has had problems with the Colorprint II from Siser? We have done 100's of shirts & all of them are peeling, cracking & falling off. These shirts are only between 2 of our customers. The images were printed with our Roland Versacam sp540v. All the images dried for 1-2 days before applied to the shirts. I followed the exact directions from siser. The customers do not turn them inside out but do not wash or dry the shirts with high heat. We have also had alot of problems with the uni mask not sticking to the premium siser material as well. The image does not want to come off the backing paper. I am not getting a great response from Siser. Does anyone recommend another material. I need to replace these shirts but am afraid of using the siser material. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does your Versacamm use Eco solvent ink? Imprintables warehouse sells opaque that is very stretchy and I was told it can withstand harsh washing. Ask Josh Ellsworth of Imprintables. The company is a preferred vendor.

Another member uses Roland opaque. Her ID is Princhic. Maybe you can send her a PM.

Yes our roland uses eco solvent inks. Thanks for the info. Siser also has a premium material as well that is the stretchy kind as well. We have used that on some items but only recently so we are waiting to see what happens with that material.

I tried to send Princhic a PM but it says there is no such user. Could you possibly have the ID wrong? Thanks

Hi,

I apologize i have not been up on all the posts here been dealing with getting my taxes out and my own print quality issue on my versacamm.

There are just too many posting going through the forum i can't keep up and i missed this post.

For me I use solutions opaque. I posted my first sample shirts that came off the printer with it when i got my machine. The photos are the "ACTUAL SHIRTS". Here is that post.

http://www.t-shirtforums.com/tf-lounge/t66523.html

That was back on November 3, 2008.

Fastforward til today March 31st, 2009 and here are photos of a couple of the shirts. These are the ACTUAL SHIRTS not markup. I scanned them in so that it could be a closeup of detail of them i made no adjustment for lightness of the photos, etc.

What you can't see is that both shirts has a slight raising effect because I didn't know to let the printed design sit overnight to gas before pressing to the shirt. Still they are still vibrant, no cracking, peeling or fading.

On Shirt #2 you will see a blue circle. I drew that around the adhesive that a sticker they had on the shirt left. So the sticker degraded but the design is still there after washing.

These shirts have been put through the ringer by my twins girls. Hubby washes without turning them inside out. No special treatment has been done to any of the shirts shown.

The girls love wearing t-shirts of desing I have created and they sometimes will wear them all day and want to wear them again the next day. Sometimes i let them if it's the weekend. They are only seven years old so they always are moving. Sliding across the floor on their bellys, climbing things, etc. simply put the shirts get a real beating. If i want to know if something will last I use them as my quality assurance as they put clothes to the test. They are real tomboys.

Here are othet shirts i have done with other papers;

Shirt #3 (a roland htm paper) was created in August 2008. This is the same shirt from back them worn and washed no special handling just thrown in the machine and dryer. Beside the cracking it's has held up pretty well.

WoW 7.1 Test that I did

and finally,

Shirt #4 (wow paper) create also back in August washed and dryed normally. And wore a lot by the twins.

Here's a close up of the design back then;
WoW 7.1 Test that I did

I am not supplying an opinion on any of the papers/methods just showing you my results.

As a results of my experience Solution opaque is our method of producing dark shirts.

Hope this helps. Again sorry i didn't see this post until now.

Thanks for the info. Imprintables is supposed to be sending me samples of their material. I am going to do some tests & hopefully everything works out. From what I am reading on these forums alot of people use their material & have had good results.
