Default Transfer paper choices for pinks, yellows, light blue

I have only had my Sunie press for a few weeks and JPSS seems to be my favorite paper for white and very light colors. I am wanting to experiment with pink, yellow, light blue shirts, etc... Should I try the JPSS on those colors? The other only inkjet transfer I have is Clear Soft.

I am very willing to experiment and waste shirts. I bought quite a few so I could experiment. I am trying to figure out what color shirts to make for my Relay for Life team. We have a yellow sun as part of our logo.

I have an OKI color laser and got some sample paper in, I haven't tried it yet. I will post on the laser paper thread to get input on it.

I also want to print on canvas bags. I would love to try some aprons, but can't find any that are 100% cotton.

Thanks, this forum is great.

Nancy

Since you have a laser printer and I assume you have inkjet printer as well. You can try both the Imageclip for inkjet and for laser printers. These are the only two true self weeding transfer papers available. It will work on the colors you mentioned since the polymer around the image is removed prior to pressing on the shirt. Most of the polymer coated heat transfers leaves behind polymer around the images. Some calls it halo effect, window, back ground, box etc. The only way to get rid of them is by trimming close to the image either by hand or vinyl cutter. When I have to use other than the Imageclip transfers I use masking technique.

This was done with Imageclip for Laser.

Here is a link to Imageclip for Inkjet:
How Imageclip for inkjet test - T-Shirt Forums

There are lots of topics about Imageclip for laser. The inkjet version is fairly new. I can help you with both versions.
